Dr. Tegan Alce
Dr. Tegan Alce earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Canada in 2014. She began her career in mixed animal practice before transitioning exclusively to small animal emergency medicine and surgery—a field she has passionately pursued ever since.
With a special interest in surgery, anesthesia, and pain management, Dr. Tegan thrives in the fast-paced and varied world of emergency veterinary care. She is a Certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist through CuraCore and has pursued extensive advanced training and certifications in areas such as surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, ultrasound, euthanasia, and more.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Tegan enjoys a full and adventurous life. She spends much of her free time with her beloved animals: riding her 6-year-old Friesian cross horse, Rocky; exploring the outdoors with her spirited 5-year-old Boxer mix, Dude; or curling up with a cup of tea and her snuggly Scottish Fold mix cat, Archie. She also loves hiking, biking, swimming, camping, photography, and traveling. She has lived all across North America and has traveled extensively, and is looking forward to exploring the Pacific Northwest.
